ROYAL PATRON PRAISES SKILL FORCE IN THE TELEGRAPH

HRH Prince William of Wales wrote passionately about the core values that epitomise Skill Force in his first article for a national newspaper. In a special souvenir supplement for Armed Forces Day in 2009, Prince William wrote:

“What makes this charity successful is that most of its instructors are ex-Armed Forces and are therefore steeped in the military ethos and have an innate understanding of how this can be applied to help young people, some of the most hard to reach in our country, inspiring them to adopt a can-do outlook and giving them confidence in their academic and personal lives.”

HRH Prince William of Wales became Skill Force’s Royal Patron in February 2009 and has a keen interest in the charity’s work with young people which utilizes the world class training, skills and life experience of ex-Service personnel to act as positive role models and inspire young people to aim higher.
