Teachers and Schools
Skill Force’s approach is based upon respect and rapport. Our aim is to emphasise the importance of education, to foster ambition and aspiration and to increase the number of young people leaving statutory education with a positive destination in mind.
In this way Skill Force's curriculum supports the work already undertaken by teachers in schools, but uses different methods to achieve the same goals.
Skill Force provides a safe and unique environment in which students develop their social, emotional and communication skills. The programme, which normally takes place for 1 day per week of each academic term, and during the normal school day, engages students, challenging their perspectives and encouraging them to plan, complete and reflect upon their approach to a diverse range of activities.
Enthusiasm and interest is cultivated and the students’ commitment to learning is energised and followed through with on - going contact with the Skill Force team.
Skill Force delivers Programmes across the educational spectrum:
• Primary School Projects
• Transition Programmes between Primary and Secondary schools
• Key Stage 3 and 4 Programmes
• Gifted and Talented Programmes
• Sixth Form Projects
• Leadership Programmes
• Post 16 Programmes
• Specialist Summer Camps
