Working for Skill Force

Skill Force has been able to support its rapid expansion and establish an incredible record of achievement since 2000 through the dedication, creativity and professionalism of all its staff in all disciplines, throughout the organisation.

Equal Opportunities
Skill Force recognises and encourages diversity in its workforce. All our employment policies are based on the principles of fairness and equality. A panel of managerial staff conducts all recruitment interviews and selection decisions are based on ability, with each candidate being judged fairly against the selection criteria for the job. A copy of the job description and person specification is sent to each applicant.

Safeguarding Policy
Skill Force is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Training and Development

We want to provide the best possible service to students, teachers and to our staff, therefore we have a strong commitment to providing a high level of management, support and training throughout the organisation.

Support for Service Leavers

Skill Force is able to take service leavers during their resettlement on attachment/work experience, with the appropriate permission from your parent unit. While such attachments are no guarantee of employment, they allow the individual to gain valuable information and employment experience in preparation for a formal Skill Force selection centre. Units may also gain PR from placing an individual in a charitable organisation within the local community. For more information please speak to your Resettlement Manager or Skill Force directly.

Please note however, we do not pay for periods of terminal leave.
