Our Programmes
Our programmes involve engaging with students and working closely with them through a framework of recognised qualifications, many of which are drawn from Foundation Learning. In discussion with the school a programme can be devised to run over 2 years for one day a week, providing more than just a structured framework of learning.
Our instructors use many of the skills they have been trained in from their military backgrounds to provide focus and direction for their students. They do not ''teach'' in the traditional sense, but create an environment in which pupils can learn. More and more schools are embracing their Skill Force teams, not only to work with the difficult to reach, but right across the student population. Because of the unique skills, qualifications and approach of our instructors, we are able to raise standards and maximise the potential of many of the students with whom we work.

We also offer a range of other shorter courses such as Waypoint, which delivers two GCSE A-C equivalents in 8-10 days of accelerated learning. Since summer 2005, Skill Force has been successfully running Wider Key Skills courses. Delivered through a series of diverse and high-quality activities, Waypoint courses are designed to progress students who are borderline 5 A-C safely into that category. Each young person is called upon to complete 6 ASDAN Action Plan-Do-Review packs during the course. It is an excellent course to propel all Key Stage 4 Students into the world of work by concentrating on critical skills that the work place desires.

Our leadership and management skills can also be applied to other parts of the school and local community. Team building, First Aid and other training courses for teachers, parents and local businesses, allow us to contribute to school and local community life.
