Increasingly, SkillForce is being approached by Primary Schools to support Key Stage 2 or P6 – S1 pupils preparing for secondary education by raising attainment in learning outcomes and by developing character, skills and competencies necessary for secondary education.
Our activity-based, values-driven programmes are designed to complement existing educational provision and can be tailored to the needs of participating students and the requirements of the school.
Pupils can work towards nationally recognised certificated awards as part of their learning, including the British Heart Foundation’s ‘Heart Start’, Playmaker and the National Navigation Award Scheme ‘Young Navigator’ awards, and also our own SkillForce Junior Prince’s Award.
