Through our bespoke education provision we can offer anything from short-term concentrated input to extended engagement delivered on or off site. We work in close partnership with schools and academies to inspire young people aged 9 to 19 (with an aspiration to start as early as age 5 in the future) to achieve in the classroom and beyond.
In addition to SkillForce’s own provision, such as the Prince’s Awards, we incorporate qualifications from nationally recognised awarding bodies (eg BTEC, OCR, NCFE, NNAS) to achieve agreed outcomes. Typically, our instructors work in schools to deliver supplementary input to complement existing learning, but we can also supply full-time alternative education for excluded or hard to reach students.
A common impetus characterising all that we do is a commitment to improving self-esteem, building character, raising attainment and equipping young people to succeed in education and life.
-
Preparing for transition:
A number of our programmes are designed to complement existing teaching provision to support young people as they prepare for the changes, challenges and opportunities associated with key transitions in their education and beyond. - Re-engaging learners:
We have a strong reputation nationally for alternative education provision, working in partnership with schools and academies. Whether measured in terms of reach, attainment, retention, outcomes or personal development, the SkillForce intervention is cost-effective and beneficial for students, schools and broader society. - Employability:
We have developed a number of pathways specifically designed to help schools teach employability skills and instil in their students the values, outlook and disciplines required by employers in the workplace.
